What to expect
Once you've been referred, you'll be reviewed by one of our consultant rheumatologists.
Patients usually require a series of tests to diagnose their condition. This might include blood tests and scans.
Following consultation and diagnosis, your consultant will recommend a course of treatment. This may include medication, therapy-based interventions and, in some instances, surgery.
Our rheumatology service provides a full range of interventions such as:
- drug infusions
- soft tissue injections
- therapy-based intervention
- pain management support
