COVID-19 (Coronavirus) guidelines

Please read our COVID-19 guidelines for patients attending Hermitage Clinic.

We continually review COVID-19 guidelines and update our processes to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

To assist us in ensuring your safety, the safety of other patients and our staff, we kindly ask you to read and follow the guidelines on this page.

Patient services

All appointments will go ahead as planned, unless you hear otherwise. You'll be asked to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire in advance of your appointment or when you arrive.

Please do not attend Hermitage Clinic if you:

If any of the above applies to you, call our reception desk on 01 645900 and we'll assist you.

When attending Hermitage Clinic, we ask that you come alone, where possible. If you need assistance, please bring only one person with you.

We ask everyone to wear a face mask when they enter the hospital.

Please note that Hermitage Clinic is not a designated receiving hospital for patients with COVID-19.

Procedures

If you're having a surgical procedure that requires general anaesthetic, you'll be advised to cocoon for 14 days before your surgery.

We'll also test you for COVID-19 before you're admitted for your procedure.

Visitors

We ask that members of the public do not visit Hermitage Clinic patients at this time. This is because we take care of patients who are vulnerable to infection.

Please see our Visiting hours and guidelines page for more information.

Get in touch

We understand that these are challenging times for our patients so please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff if you have any questions or concerns.
