Patricia Galvin graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, St. John’s University, New York in 1993. She has 20 years experience working with children and adults as a Speech and Language Therapist in various hospital and clinical settings both in New York and in Ireland including in acute care, child and family centres and rehabilitation clinics. She is currently working as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist in an acute care hospital outside the greater Dublin area. For the past 10 years, she has also had a private practice in Maynooth providing speech and language evaluations and therapeutic interventions to children from infants -teenagers. Patricia maintains ongoing continuing professional development. She has recently achieved advanced training and certification in the assessment/analysis of dysphagia by videoflouroscopy. Her areas of expertise are:
